Primus loaded

Skip to the Gear Reviews page on the right to see my review of the Lowepro Primus AW photo daypack. Worth a look for a Ryanairable, alldayable, camera carrier.

Chains and rings0

Had a good but tiring weekend. A big party (and some fun photos!) on Saturday and a walk on the Elie chainwalk on Sunday. Pics 5&9 were shot by Euan. Pic 3 by an unknown party.

Dragacevo (Guca) Trumpet Festival0

I have put up a gallery with an overview of the 47th Festival of Trumpets in Guca, click the picture for the link.

I’ll put up more pictures that are less to do with the festival but concern some very cool people later.

Soundslides: Ceilidh1

I have put together a musical slideshow of Clanen Ceilidh band rocking Sarah & Terence’s wedding. Click the pic and turn on your speakers!

More to come…of course.

Off to Serbia1

All packed and stacked and ready to go (except for my rapidly drying trousers).

I’m going to Serbia with my good friend Dave for the Guca trumpet festival (http://www.guca.co.yu/eng/). 300,000 people swarm into a sleepy town of 2,000 to party, dance and listen to the world’s finest trumpet music. Miles Davis visited the festival and commented “I did’nt know you could play a trumpet that way”. Sleeping optional, partying mandatory, earplugs a neccesity. I wonder what “Concerned of Sutton” will have to say?

The Cavalcade0

Photographs from the the Annual Festivals Cavalcade. This year constant drizzle meant only around 50,000 people turned out for the parade. Here are some photographs from the warmup. The full gallery is here.
