George and Kathryn’s wedding0

I was best man for a good friend’s wedding last weekend. This is possibly the closest to being a bodygaurd I’ll get the chance to be in my life. It was kinda fun although I did’nt get sunglasses and an earbug and led no dramatic escapes through kitchens. I had my trusty sidearm, 1D with a 24mm prime for general snapping and the results can be seen here.

Fun with flash0

Jumping Joe Fraser escapes past an unsuspecting Kirsty with the family jewels

Off camera flash, radio triggered, set to 1/8 power and shot through an umbrella. Nutters essential. Fun for sure.

Chased off from thrown bread Kirsty called this shot.

Vets know how to hold balls!0

Accompanied my good friend Kirsty to the vet graduation ball in Chambers St. museum. Don’t get many opportunities to dust off the suit, and have’nt been to many functions in such a beautiful airy venue as the museum foyer. The ceilidh band won me over by starting out with “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and interspersing ceilidh with modern stuff so I could get pictures and not miss a dance.
